About the event
Join us for Talking with Healthcare and Behavioral Health Providers, part of our Conversations That Open Doors workshop series.
In this session, we’ll focus on building confidence when talking with doctors, counselors, and other providers while experiencing homelessness. You’ll learn practical ways to speak up, ask questions, and make sure your health and wellness needs are heard and respected.
Whether you're preparing for an appointment, navigating a new diagnosis, or just want to feel more comfortable advocating for yourself, this workshop is for you.
We’ll share real-life strategies, offer a supportive space for discussion, and create opportunities to practice communication skills in a way that feels safe and empowering.
Dinner and refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome.
Come as you are. Your voice matters, and you deserve care that works for you.
